Medical drama series "Brain" involves around three doctors at prestigious Chunha University Hospital.
Lee Kang-Hoon (Shin Ha-Kyun) is an excellent, but arrogant, brain surgeon at Chunha University Hospital. He came from a poor family background and is still haunted by the painful memory of his father's death which was caused by the rejection of a doctor. Kang-Hoon has a strong desire to succeed and prove that he is the best. His rival is Joon-Suk (Jo Dong-Hyeok) who comes from a family of doctors and has basically everything. Kim Sang-Chul (Jung Jin-Young) is known as the best brain surgeon at Chunha University Hospital. He also cares about his patients and has a strong dislike for Kang-Hoon.
One day, a young man collapses at an indoor swimming pool and is sent to the hospital. The patient is Unconscious on arrival. Kang-Hoon gives the order to prepare for surgery, but Joon-Suk suggests that they call Kim Sang-Chul to perform the surgery. Kang-Hoon replies that there isn't enough time and performs the surgery himself, while other doctors observe the operation.
During the surgery, there's a dangerous moment when the patient's aneurysm ruptures. At this time, Joon-Suk calls Kim Sang-Chul. Kim Sang-Chul runs to the operation room. Meanwhile, Kang-Hoon manages the operation well and the surgery is a success, but he leaves the last clip for the vice director of the hospital. Kang-Hoon wants to gain the favor of the vice director. Because of her arrogant attitude, he isn't welcome by anybody at the hospital.
While, Kang-Hoon takes a rest in his office he receives a phone call from his younger sister. Kang-Hoon says he is busy and hangs up. He attends a conference of junior doctors. There Kang-Hoon asks questions to the junior doctors, but none of them are able to answer his questions. Kang-Hoon then asks for their chief doctor who is Ji-Hye (Choi Jung-Won). Ji-Hye is not there. Kang-Hoon yells at them to follow him.
On the way, Kang-Hoon and his partiy happens to meet Kim Sang-Chul and Ji-Hye. Kim Sang-Chul blames Kang-Hoon for not checking on his patient after the surgery.
When Kang-Hoon is back in his office, he begins to blame the others and especially Ji-Hye, who did not graduate from Chunha University. Ji-Hye talks back to Kang-Hoon. Kang-Hoon decides to seek revenge by giving out work. While Ji-Hye is writing a report asked for by Kang-Hoon, Joon-Sook surprises her. Ji-Hye replies that she can't understand why Kang-Hoon has such a strong dislike for her. Joon-Suk tells her not to confront Kang-Hoon. At the cafeteria, Kang-Hoon eats lunch alone. Joon-Suk asks Kang-Hoon to be nice to Ji-Hye. Kang-Hoon aks him whether he likes her.

Sebuah drama penyiasatan Korea yang boleh saya kategorikan lain dari drama korea kebiasaannya, drama yang cukup menarik dan penerbitnya berani untuk menampilkan elemen baru dalam industri K drama.


tetapi mungkin kerana kelainan ini juga yang menyebabkan drama ini kurang mendapat perhatian penonton tempatan Korea dengan rating tidak pernah melebihi 10%. akan tetpi ia merupkan sebuah drama yang berbaloi untuk ditonton.

diterbitkan pada tahun 2007 dan dibintangi oleh Uhm Tae Wong(Queen Seon Dok), joo Ji Hoon(Goong) dan Shi Min Ah(A Love To Kill), drama ini mengisahkan dendam dan pembalasan. Kang Oh Su(Uhm) seorang yang bermasalah pada zaman remajanya sehingga terlibat dengan jenayah serius, namun berjaya diselamatkan oleh keurganya yang berpengaruh. dia akhirnya memilih untuk menjadi detektif bagi menebus kesalahan lampau. keadaan sering dirumitkan dengan kehadiran kad tarot sring dikirimkan kepada oh su, setiap klai dia mendapat kad tarot pasti akan ada pembunuhan yang berlaku.

seo hae in(Shi Min Ah) seorang gadis psikik yang mampu melihat memori terpendam melalui barang yang di sentuhnya. dia seringkali memantu Oh Su untuk menyelesaikan masalah. Namun kehadiran Oh Seung Ha(Joo Ji Hoon) sering menambahkan konflik. Peguam muda yng sering membantu suspek pembuhan tanpa mengenakan sebarang bayaran. tetapi adakah dia mempunya maksud yang tersirat. Dan apa pula kaitan kkad tarot degan kejadian pembunuhan yang berlaku, semua ini bakal terjawab apabila anda menonton drama ini.

walaupun ia kurang mendapat sambutan di korea namun ia mendapat sambutan yang menggalakkan di Jepun, bahkan drama ini bakal diadaptasi ke Holywood sedikit masa lagi.

NEWS: SECRET GARDEN

Drama of big issue SBS "Secret Garden" is going to get the SBS Special Award.

SBS Drama Center Kim Yeong-sup Commanding Producer announced that weekend drama "Secret Garden" was going to get a special award for the first time in 2011.

"Secret Garden" ended on the 16th with a rating of 35.2% (AGB Nielson Media Research average) besides marking an average rating of 24.4% and creating mass issues. Lead actors Hyeon Bin and Ha Ji-won also gained popularity as big as to creating new expressions like "Joo-won ache" and "La-im ache".

Last year SBS dramas "Definitely Neighbors" and "Giant" got the special awards. The Special Award is given to most popular dramas according to the SBS standards.

Kali kita akan kongsikan mengenai drama DR CHAMP, drama ini telah pun tamat siarannya di korea pada oktober yang lalu. sebenarnya saya agak tertarik untuk berkongsi tentang drama ini kerana pada pendapat saya ia agak berlainian kerana mengetengahkan isu kedoktoran dalam duia sukan, mengambil latar masa sebelum Sukan Asia Guangzhou ia turut memberi fokus kepada persiapan atlet Korea untuk menghadapi temasya berprestij itu.
KIM SO YUN
tetapi perlu diakui sebab utama saya menonton drama ini kerana pelakonya, Uhm Tea Wong yang memegang watak Dr Lee Dong Wok merupakan pelakon korea paling saya kagumi. kerana setiap watak yang diberikan berjaya ditangani dengan baik contohny dalam drama Sassy Girl Dan The Devil. selain itu drama ini turut dibintangi oleh Kim so Yun(IRIS) dan Jung Sok Won(Creating Destiny).
UHM TAE WONG
seperti biasa tema cinta tidak lari dari drama-drama korea, pelbagai konflik tercetus kerana cinta, pastinya menambah lagi perisa dalam drama.

Drama ini turut memenangi DRAMA FRONTIER AWARD d 2010 KBS DRAMA AWARD yang berlangsung baru-baru ini.
